Christina brings reader concerns to the high school lunch table 01:54:00 PM

Not only was I shy in high school, I was labeled a “good girl”. Deadly combination. Some people find that hard to believe (that I was shy, not that I was a good girl). Some how the shy girl ended up a big mouthed, sarcastic adult.
I, for one, look forward to hanging at the cool girls’ table. Besides, you’re all acting too nice and funny to be really cool girls.
I feel overwhelmed by your generosity to include my concerns. I’ll shut-up now and quietly sit down at the table.
You know it is so nice to know that there are others out there and weren’t the cool kids in school. I was too goody-goody, basically I was just shy. I still am to a certain extent and don’t have a lot of close friends but I do treasure the ones I have and most of us have been friends for years and years. So glad you all found each other and are letting us share in your friendship.
I think others were afraid that since the blog is by best-selling authors, it would be the “antithesis” to the scads of unpublished author blogs on the net. I personally am excited about this blog--I’m so nosy that I want to know you guys’ thoughts outside of books. *G*
