When my youngest daughter was very little and the “Ghostbusters” song would play on the radio, she would sing along, but her version was “Go Mussers!”
I think the Mussers must be a sports team of some kind.
Off topic, but Xtina that reminds me of one of my cousins. He just turned four, but he will sing and dance along to “Sexy Back” in the car. (There’s something wrong with this picture...) It’s actually quite adorable, in a strange sort of way.
My favorite thing he does, however, is say “I amn’t!” Hey, if you can make contractions from are not and is not, why not am not?
I absolutely HATE scary movies! Life is scary enough for me. I especially am petrified of movies that deal with the occult/Satan. Silence of the Lambs also terrified me. I don’t understand why people like to be scared. I don’t go to haunted houses, and I don’t ride roller coasters. Who needs adrenaline rushes when you have kids?
Christina, I watched Ghostbusters when I was thirteen or fourteen and the thing that gave me nightmares was the Sta-puft Marshmallow man! It’s so nice to know I’m not alone in my phobia of him.
Count me in with those that hate scary movies. The scariest movie for me? “Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” (the original). I saw that once when I was a kid and it scared the crap out of me. (Gene Wilder was just too freaky as Wonka.) My family still jokes about it to this day… Of course, I’m the girl who has to cover her eyes during parts of the “Harry Potter” and “Lord of the Rings” movies.
Christina...ok but Eyes movie just sound creepy and icky. I loved the marshmellow man though...he looked so sweet and innocent...til they pissed him of...muahahaha...*ahem* sorry.
bluskies...my son used to love to sing “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” something very wrong with that. He also love Honky Tonk Badonkadonk and Papa Roach’s “Scars” He loves hard rock that he can scream along with lol. My favorite thing he does though is if I say something totally obvious he’ll look at me and say “duh!”
The Giant Marshmellow Man? Really?
Scariest Movie for me: “Wait Until Dark” with Audrey Hepburn. I was scared to death. I saw it for the first time at an assembly in high school in the middle of the day.
Christina,
I can’t even watch the kids movie Casper, or the cartoons of Casper! The mean ghosts were TOO scary!
I love the Stay-Puf Marshmallow Man because Dan Akroyd’s character reminded me so much of me and that was just like something I would do. I can just see my husband turning to give me that same look they give him.
