Oh, woops. Too obvious? Sorry Gannon; I have a history of pigging in on arcs. Congrats anyway...let us know what you think.
J Perry, thank you for the chuckle; if I was ever going to get mixed up in risky business I’d want you on my side!
Congratulations to you Gannon. I always enjoy reading your posts, and am happy you won Christina’s book.
Ha ha! I love the cover art stories here!
I actually bought this book w/cover because I read about it here! I saw a copy in our used book store and snapped it up! I showed the clerk, and she said stuff like that happens all the time!! That would be a funny blog! Kooky book covers!
congrats Gannon!!
Congratulations Gannon!

Yes, and I wish it was me. The artist actually sold the painting to a greeting card company who published it as a Valentine’s Day card. I have a copy. There she is with her three arms, being romantic.

ms. mary, I’ve done it on the old site. One of my most popular blogs, believe me. I may rerun it again someday, but until then ... http://squawkradio.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Dear Gannon Perry Stone,
Thank you for your address. I’ll be sending the, er, arc to your home immediately.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Sincerely,
Gannon Christina Dodd
Does anyone have an extra hand so I can smack G Perry Stone, I mean J Perry Stone, upside the head? Wait a minute, Christina does!
Congrats Gannon, you lucky duck! Remember to keep those over zealous romance fans at arm’s length. I’m sure Christina could give you a hand up with that!
J - you are so getting a call tomorrow!
OMG, I’m soooo excited!!!! I went out to dinner with my dh and the kids and just got home and decided to pop in and see who had one....ME! Thanks, Christina. I’ve been dying to read this book!
Gee, who knew there was someone else named Gannon on this board--did you officially change your name, J. Perry?
Congrats Gannon!!
There are days I wish I had three arms. Could come in handy!! *snicker*

Big congrats Gannon!
At first I thought this was a “joke” kind of blog ---- this had me laughing!!! I love it!
Congrats Gannon!
Ah yes, the alien baby, how could I’ve forgotten, still funny, all of them. Well, at least the writing is good! Thanks for the laughs, again Christina..
Congrats Gannon!!!
J Perry, you are SO FUNNY.
big smile lol…
so um gannon… now that I have been so polite in congratulating you…
remember that bet?
the one where you lost, and had to send my the Scent of Darkness ARC?
remember?
Gannon, we’re long lost name twins, didn’t you know? I only wish we we had a conjoined brain too, so that when you read it, all of it went into my head, as well.
It still was worth a try
even though I suspect my chances at snagging any future arcs are getting less by the minute. Somehow, I always seem to screw myself
At least Linda and Laura were amused.
J--hiding from CD, any mail with her name on it, and that extra hand San mentioned.
Many congratulations, Gannon!
J: You’re brilliant!! (Yes, I’ll have one of your future ARCs for that compliment, please.)
Isn’t that amazing that no one caught it before it went out to print! I guess we see what we expect to see.
So, does that mean, somewhere someone has a picture / painting of a three-armed woman? And you gotta wonder, what was the artist thinking / doing / on?? LOL
What a great story and what a great way to introduce yourself! Of course that was only the entrĂ©e for you ~ you’ve managed the last 14 years, if not exactly on your own, certainly on your own merit… and marvelously well!
Great story Christina!
