Oh, come on, Christina!  I want to hear where the first book was set.  (And I, for one, am delighted to see you cross-writing, because I love cross-reading, too.  But if I DID write historical, it would take place during the Revolutionary War or Colonial times.  Which is another reason why I’m not doing it.)

So give it up.  Where was your first book set?

I read both Contemporary and Historical .. I have to say my favorite is historical.. I read Candle in the Window at least 5 times.. and that goes for most of the other books too rasberry I commend in being able to write both.. I would think it would be difficult going back and forth.

As for only being able to write a bit at a time… cloning could be an option.. LOL.
