I adore Bruce Campbell, but I’ve never seen this. I’m less into the gory stuff, but if it’s campy, I’m on it. Must hie myself to Blockbuster.

And, hey, Connie, did you model Harry in AS YOU DESIRE after Bruce Campbell? I didn’t even know you when I read that book, and I think Harry’s coloring wasn’t the same as Bruce’s, but the whole time I was reading that book, Harry was Bruce Campbell to me.

Sigh.

Okay, if Evil Dead 2 is a horror flick then there actually is a horror movie I like.  DH loves the Evil Dead trilogy and convinced me that they are indeed pretty cool.  I think the comedy mixed in with the gore is what makes me watch it without being bribed.  Evil Dead 2 is definately a must watch...at least once.

Give me some sugar, baby!!!  The Evil Dead movies are the only horror movies I can/will watch.  Bruce Campbell is the king of “camp”.  My favorite of the 3 is Army of Darkness.

As for the retro-fitted chain saw hand, let’s not forget that such appendage became necessary when Ash chopped it off himself to remove the evil spirit in it.

Oh my gosh, these movies are big in my house.  My Dad LOVES “Army of Darkness.” He says that it is the greatest movie ever made.  Bruce Campbell is like the greatest actor to him.  To tease him we say it is a terrible movie.  It is actually pretty funny.  So there is this set of horror movies I can watch.

My husband loves these movies and I hate them.  But I did like BUBBA-HOTEP and I’ve heard Bruce Campbell’s autobiography is a real hoot!

Why doesn’t it surprise me that Connie sounds like a scholar of horror movies? :D
