Connie’s Coop

LOL . . . that was great, Connie B Demille!
And what adorable well-mannered puppies . . .
Connie, you were supposed to show us your office...not the dogs’!
And don’t think you’re going to escape explaining a laptop and a PC. Is one for you and the other for your alter ego? Just asking.....
LMAO!
Thanks for the tour, Connie. That was very… well, very...um, very....interesting. Yeah, that’s the word. Interesting.
Btw, glad to know I’m not the only one who spends her life tripping over dog toys. It’s especially fun at 3am, in the dark, when you’re hobbling toward the back door as fast as you can on your post-surgical knee because the puppy has to pee...NOW!
Yep, that was my life just a few short hours ago.
Happy to report we all survived - the puppy, the carpet and me (barely).
I love the camera work! You seem to have a very contemplative dog ("to beg for food now, or later....that is the question")
Connie, that was totally cool! Loved it and the puppies.
Forget the Ritas. I’m deeply envious that Connie is so much more technologically advanced than the rest of us.
She must be more technologically advanced than I am. When I pushed the play button, nothing happened. Guess I’ll try again after work.
Ummm please forgive my vular curiosity…
But ....what or who is hanging from your ceiling light? (Even on replaying 3X, I can’t tell. Is he/it escaping the dogs?)

It’s my Monkey Muse!
He hangs over my head like the sword of Damacles. Sometimes I put bills in his hands, other times Hershy kisses. To remind myself why i;m sitting in an office when it’s gorgeous outside and the sun is shining and the birds are singing.
Love it! I have a friend who has a posable ‘elf’ in her home office. He ‘moves’ regularly, though seldom of his own volition (I think). One of my favourite sports is to occasionally sneak into her office when I’m over for coffee and move him to some weird contortion and location...and wait for her to notice. The record is two weeks, and that involved a light suspension similar to yours.
(Good thing I don’t come over to your house, isn’t it. Couldn’t resist a Monkey).
Thank you for the lovely tour Connie. Your “spin” on creative camera shots made my head spin…literally! Was that you doing the voice over? Oh my… you sound so… normal!
And your Springer sits in chairs too? The breed should be called English Springer-on-to-the-Couch Potato Spaniels. Mine gets very indignant if she is not allowed to sit at the table with the family during dinner. Of course I Would never allow that. But the DH does. Sigh…
And for some reason I just assumed your first homemade video would be porn!

Yeah, and I had trouble just figuring out how to play it (you’d think the big arrow in the middle would give me a hint).
Everybody’s got cute puppies everywhere. I need a doggie. What are your puppies’ names?
And see, your office is you too Connie:
Complicated and ecclectic.
Oh I liked your office! It’s very interesting. What kind of wallpaper is that? It’s kind of fuzzy and goes by too fast to tell. Love your doggies! Too cute!
The dogs are Bonner (long story-- made-up name) and Ollie. Bonner is out newest “fur kid” (just turned a year) and Ollie is 10.
The wallpaper is really cool. I’ll post a picture of it later.
Complicated and eclectic. BOO-RAH! You nailed me, J Stone Perry! (!)
And Miss terri, what makes you think this is my FIRST video....?
LOL, Connie. In my family, we would say you studied at the E. C. Shelby School of Photography. E. C. was my dad and his style was of the pan quickly right and left method.
Look quick! There went the Grand Canyon. Oops, that blur was the Rocky Mountains. All of them in 10 seconds. Ohh. Was that the baby?
But I enjoyed your tour all the same. Just got a chuckle as a bonus.
Margaret
OK, glad to know I’m not the only one sharing an office with animals who have an addiction to my chair.
Connie,
This looks more like my office at home...except for the monkey. We are looking at moving into a smaller place...don’t know where I am going to stuff myself.
Thanks for sharing
I love that the puppy got his close-up. Great video. I bet you polished those pretty trophies just for the taping...LOL! I would have!
That monkey thing reminded me of some posable stuffed animals that were in the radio studio where I last worked. It was the Gumby horse thing and a Kermit the Frog. Then they added Sylvester. Lets just say the poses they put those things in could have been in your other movies. You know, the porn.
All of these offices are so great. I’m with J. Perry. Now I want a puppy....
I want the chair Connie, even if it comes with a puppy!
At least you don’t have a huge cat who lays across the keyboard when he wants your attention.
Connie, great office. I happened to like the virtual tour - you really get a feel of your space.
Love the dogs too!
LOL I have a cat named Ollie. I loved seeing the movie (and the doggies). Looks like a nice comfortable office and the large window is great.
Oh, my eyes, my eyes, Connie! Probably you won’t post that OTHER video you made
Am I the only one that got dizzy? *g* Thanks for showing us your office. The puppies are adorable.
I love the dogs, Connie, and they are so well-behaved.
I couldn’t play the tour on my office machine. Are your videos so inf--famous that they are blocked by institutions of higher learning?
Connie: First time I’ve heard your voice. Great to hear ya.
Liz: My theory is that Connie crafts her historicals on the PC and her contemps on the laptop. She needs to be mobile, so she can take quick notes, like at country fairs.
Margaret: Loved your comment about your dad’s photography.
Keira said: “She needs to be mobile, so she can take quick notes, like at country fairs.”
AND ice houses, Keira.
What a *novel* concept! (Okay, I can hear the boo’s and hissing… I’ll stop now)... And I must say, I am curious about your “Wall of Infamy”... is there a story there?? Something that we would all be interested in hearing about?
What a great room! and lots of space and places for the dogs… they’re beautiful.
all that “spinning” made me dizzy, love the dogs though.
Well, I’ve heard rumors that those golden little statues are RITA AWARDS, but since they’re only mythical and don’t really exist, I’m guessing that they’re really giant chocolate gold-wrapped Easter Bunnies. Right, Eloisa?
