Woo, sorry to be posting so late.  I had a much needed sleep-in this morning.  And I just realized it’s been a while since I’ve rocked the coop, so next week, I promise to blog about something that’ll really stir things up.  Heh heh heh.

Liz, excellent choice.  I’m afraid to say that I have this in all forms: LP, cassette and CD.  It’s a great keeper.  What a voice and great orchestra.

Now, let’s not be unfair! I’ve frequently said the Eagles have that “boompa chinka, boompa chinka” down better than anyone.

Love Diane Schuur. Love Count Basie. A big thumbs-up on this one.

Thanks Liz for educating me on music.  I will be looking for this one soon.  Something my DH and I could enjoy together I think. Take care!

Oh absolutely!  Love Diane Schuur and the Basie band.  Love them individually.  I usually get a fix weekly on Jonathan Schwartz’s NPR show…

Happy Easter, Passover and Weekend....

A lovely voice, she has! It would be nice to say I listen to this music a lot, but I think I need to more! Very nice music for that romantic evening!!
Happy Easter!

What a classic Liz! My neighbor had this CD in her collection and we spent the afternoon listening to it and drinking tea. smile
Have you heard of a new R&B type artist called Corinne Bailey Rae?  I recently bought her CD because I loved the song she sang at the Grammys and the entire CD is simply beautiful. What a fantastic voice that girl has. Give it a whirl.
hugs,
Gaia
