I am so excited about the Darkness books as well. I love love love it when authors branch out into new genres… we get fabulous books like Hot Dish, Sugar Daddy, and Teresa Medieros’ vampires… and now the Darkness series! I can’t wait- loved the newsletter and the website!

And thanks, guys, for the kind words about the DARKNESS CHOSEN series. I’m very excited about it. I feel as if I’m straddling the contemporary and historical romance world. The series is set in the contemporary world, yet the story starts a thousand years ago and the paranormal allows me to use the kind of complex language and ideas of honor and good and evil that seem historical.  Ask the other Squawkers. Both books have made me so happy!

I’m with Laura T on this one!  You fabulous ladies continue to push my reading envelope not only with your delicious ventures beyond your respective genres but also with fabulous books and authors.

And really, anyone who hasn’t checked out Christina’s new Darkness Chosen section really should. Its amazing. I can NOT wait for this series. Just the excerpt had my mouth hanging open and all I could utter was WOW. Wow. WOW!

Since y’all introduced me to J.R. Ward’s books, I’ve been totally hooked!!  Xtina, can’t wait for your new series!!

I just finished Lover Revealed! I love JR Ward’s books. When I say finished, I mean devoured.

I’m not a huge vampire book fan, but she does a wonderful job.

I haven’t tried Elizabeth Vaughn, but now you’ve have my curiousity stirred.

I am also right in the middle of LOVER REVEALED.  And still trying to figure out why I love these books! LOL

I’m totally intrigued by the Darkness Chosen series and can’t wait to experience it.

Definitely have to find out more about E Vaughn too.
