I’ll second that nomination for Hugh Jackman.  He’s tall, dark and handsome.  He’s sexy as all get out.  He’s happily married and a devoted dad.  He sings, he dances and he has a great sense of humor!

There are so many to choose from, but I’ll go with Matthew Fox and Eric Dane.. you know McSteamy.

I was one of those who didn’t think he was so great, then I saw Casino Royale and fell in love the second he looked into the camera.  He is gorgeous.  He also has a way of pulling off those cheesy Bond lines without sounding like a tool.  His whole presense is very sexy and he’s all rough looking.  Yummy.

And here I used to be strictly a Matthew McConaughey girl (this is not a nominations) but then someone mentioned he has stumpy arms and I’ve been distracted ever since.  Oh and Daniel Craig came into my life and turned it upside down!

I would like to nominate Mike Rowe from Discovery Channel’s Dirty Jobs.  The man can be covered in some of the most noxious substances known to man and he still is hot!  The sexiest thing about him is his sense of humor - any man that can laugh at himself the way he does is incredibly sexy in my book.

Totally agree with you regarding Daniel Craig. He was totally HOT in Casino Royale (loved, loved, loved the shower scene & neither was nude!). Have to give nods to Daniel, my perennial fav George Clooney & Hugh Jackman.

Although I hate to be cliched, I have to cast a vote for Mr. Clooney.  I sure me love me some Johnny Depp, too, but George wins out for me because you just KNOW he’s the kind of guy you could have a real, normal, and probably wildly entertaining conversation with.  He’s smart, funny, and personable, all of which go a long way for me in terms of sexy.  Oh, and he ain’t bad to look at, either ; ) And talk about aging well!  We should all be so fortunate!

As luck would have it, I live not far away from George’s family (and I only stalked them by driving by their house one time, I swear!) so it’s not inconceivable that I shall, at some magical point in time, run into George in person, by which time I just PRAY I have a camera phone!

I know that this vote probably won’t count, but I have to put in my vote for an Ensemble Award for the male cast of Love Actually. I just watched it again recently, and BOY- it sure put me in a giving mood! Reminds me, too, of how sexiness can be found in such a variety of flavors- something for everyone!

I nominate Eduardo Verastegui.  Heck, I don’t even know exactly what he does or even if he does anything.  Quite honestly, I really don’t care whether he does anything or not.  In my humble opinion he is the best looking hunk of male I have seen.  Real, real, Eye Candy.

He could be Lord Dain, Baron Duncan Wexton, Ranger (Janet Evanovich’s character) and I can picture him as the hero in any of Lisa Kleypas, Eloisa James, Christina Dodd’s etc etc books and just about anyone’s elses hero.

Just looking at him makes ME smile.  Really, really, really smile.

Oh, and by the way, I did indeed download one of the available wallpapers from his website for my computer.  That is my job.

Oooh, Georgia Peach, we just watched INSIDE MAN for the first time last night and Clive definitely had me swooning!  I just kept staring at him, going, “Can anyone’s eyes really be that big?” And his voice just makes me melt into a warm, sweet pile of goo.

I think People got it right this year: Clooney is the Sexiest Man Alive.  He’s got the complete package, and I love all his interview answers.  It’s really saying something when I can love the actor as much or more than the character.

On the new Bond movie:

I´ve already seen it twice. Watching Bond is kind of a family tradition for me (us). My parents liked watching the movies so I kinda grew up with Sean Connery seduction skills and Roger Moores tongue in cheek remarks to his enemies.

I haven´t EVER seen a Bond movie in the theatre, but this one i just had to see on the big screen. It got these incredibly good critics. Plus- I´ve been a fan of Daniel Craig since he did “The Icehouse” where he snogged Kitty Aldrige and - I think - got one in the face for it.

I find Craig incredibly sexy and sensual a man - and a really good actor too. Both was IMO badly needed for James Bond. Nothing against Pierce Brosnan, but his last Bond was just so over the top.

The romantic angle in “Casino Royale” didn´t fully work for me though. Eva Green is stunning of course and her character, Vesper… Something, was not bad, but I couldn´t fully follow the romance. It was okay though and I suppose the focus of the movie was on something else anyway.
It´ll be interesting where they go with the new Bond and if they keep on the route they are already on. I sure hope so, because the movie-Bond really needed to be renewed IMO and with “Casino Royal” it was done brilliantly.

I loved this movie. Daniel Craig is sex on a stick and his Bond really seemed complicated and interesting.

In case you haven’t read my thread “Bond, James Bond” on Avon Teresa...I have fallen madly and completely in love with Daniel Craig. I have not been this way over an actor in 3 years. I have seen the movie 6 times now and will more than likely see it a 7th. As far as I am concerned there is no other and never was anyone more suited for this role. He brings something so amazing and so magical and so spectacular to this character. HIS BLUE EYES ARE JUST PENETRATING. To just see pictures of him does not do this man justice...you must go see Casino Royale to get the full picture-to get what type of charizma and masculinity this man has. While I think he looks incredible in those blue swim trunks (not dogging the trunks), I really prefer the scenes where he is in that black tux, or in his sporty blue long sleeved shirts, or that short sleeved white shirt (when he rammed the man’s Range Rover into the fence), or that gorgeous dark blue pin striped 3 piece suit at the end. I love him. I really love him! Adn I know I sound ridiculous but I do..I love him!!!!!!! God Daniel Craig..you’re the man!!!

My first choice is Gerard Butler, Phantom of the Opera star and soon to appear in 300.  To me he is ‘Number One’ and stands alone, an extremely talented actor, a really nice guy and oh so sexy.  My second choice would be Hugh Jackman, wow! and third Daniel Craig.  I have recently seen Casino Royal and thought it was terrific, what an improvement on some of the earlier ones.  Daniel fitted the part perfectly, I reserved judgement until I saw him in the role, but now I am convinced he IS James Bond.

I knew you ladies would love Daniel Craig. I also adore Gerard Butler but I find myself infatuated with Mr. Craig’s portrayl of James Bond at the moment. There really is something special about this actor. His Ice Blue eyes are just mezmerizing. He is the cocky James Bond but also a vulnerable James in love and so adorable. “I have no armor left, you’ve stripped it from me”... “Whatever I am ....is your” Come on that is so freakin romantic. That line could be in any one of our beloved authors books. So amazing.

My nomination for Sexiest Man Alive is Gerard Butler.  He’s not only tall, dark and handsome, but he oozes sex appeal and charisma.  He’s also a very good actor whose star is beginning to shine with these films soon to be released:  Frank Miller’s “300”, “Butterfly on a Wheel” with Pierce Brosnan and “P.S. I Love You” with Hilary Swank.
