I’m thankful for having such lovely eye candy on a cold Canadian November Thursday morning.
And a huge thank you for all the talented ladies here who keep my bookshelf filled with laughter and the joy of losing myself in a good story. You all rock!
Happy Thanksgiving to all the American sqwawkers.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
I’m thankful for Sean Bean and Alan Rickman in whatever roles they’re in. *wink*
A Feast for the Eyes!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Hope you all have a Delicious Day
I’m thankful I hate girlfriends (and the guys on here too!) to hang out with and no one cares about my hair, makeup or, uh, robe!
Happy Turkey Day!
Happy Thanksgiving!
I’m thankful to Terri for taking time from her Thanksgiving morning to think of us and offer up such a delicious visual gift.
I’m thankful to the Squawkers for providing us with this wonderful playground, for sharing their many talents with us throughout the year and for allowing us to know the wonderful women behind the books.
(((Hugs)))
Now that my power is back on (it was out for about an hour this AM), I come here to find this - I’m very thankful (for both the power and the pics).
You know, at work I get to order stickers that we give out to kids after they get their shots - we get Dora, Spongebob, Scooby Doo, etc. The catalog had Pirates stickers with Capt. Jack and Will - I think it was the same pick of Capt. Jack that Teresa posted - I thought we should order those to give out to moms!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
I’m thankful my mom’s here to spend a couple of nights with us (and make the turkey *G*). I’m thankful my husband and son are making the pies and sweet potatoes. I’m thankful I only have to open cans and chop vegetables for the corn casserole. And I’m thankful I know how to set a lovely table.
I’m also thankful for good friends and good times, my and my family’s good health, and that I’m able to make a living doing something I love.
And also, Gerard Butler.
Have a good one, everybody! Eat ‘til you can’t eat anymore!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
Happy Thanksgiving Squawkers!!
I’m thankful that I’ve learned how to cook and that my family appreciates it. After learning that we were spending today with Grandma my son begged (threw a fit!) that I had to cook Thanksgiving:D So after choking down my mom’s charbroiled turkey today I’ll be making another dinner Saturday. Isn’t it wonderful to be so loved?? Yep, it is.
And that my husband said my peanut butter balls were better than Reese’s and my chocolate covered cherries were divine!
BTW, my word is need31. Yes, I’m going to need 31 valium to get thru today with my mother
Happy Turkey Day!!
And I’m thankful we bought the turkey so my mother-in-law is doing all of the cooking! (Hey, I begged her to let me cook something but she declined. She’s obviously had my cooking before
)
Teresa, who bakes much better than she cooks
Happy Thanksgiving Squawkers and Squawkees!

Thank you so much Squawkers and Squawkees for providing my daily source of laughter, enjoyment, and wonderful advice. My days are brighter because of all of you. And Squawkers, your generosity and humor has made me a lifehold fan.
Hope all you chicks had a great Thanksgiving. I wish all of you an early ending to leftovers and a fabulous metabolism
Bar har har, Froggie! That “Smiley” looks just as I did about 6 PM last night after my third piece of pecan pie.
Thanks for all of the well wishes and I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and our overseas fans had time to count their blessings too
I am a non-American, so I didn’t celebrate Thanksgiving, but I hope you all had a wonderful time.
And I hope the day-after-Thanksgiving won’t be too hard for you.
Little late to this one.. Thanks for thinking of us on Thanksgiving Teresa!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am so thankful that the Squawkers have this wonderful site which provides a daily source of entertainment and virtual companionship.
I too am thankful for Gerard Butler and since it is Thanksgiving, I am willing to share him with his other fans, just this once....

I am thankful Susie Q2 decided to share Gerard Butler with us!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.
Santa
Who had her last official Thanksgiving meal today!
OH. MY. GOD!
Colin Firth, Hugh Laurie, Johnny Depp and Russell Crowe all in one place! Excuse me while I wipe drool off the keyboard.
I’m reading this on Monday, Nov. 27. So, you know it’s after Thanksgiving. I don’t sleep all that well and frequently find myself doing odd things at 2am.
Around midnight, last night, I was restless and my eyes were burning from reading. Of course, there was nothing on tv but infomercials.
Then, I remembered that I bought the movie version of “Pride and Prejudice” some months ago and had never watched. So, I popped the DVD in the machine and went back to the early 1800’s. I also own the A&E presentation of many hours. Naturally, I have comparisons.
First of all, Colin Firth IS Mr. Darcy. No comparison there. No way, no how. Matthew Macfadyen is nice looking but likes the wonderful “brooding” factor that Mr. Darcy requires.
The film is quite lush and the large homes are wonderful to behold. I quite enjoyed Mrs. Bennett much better than the A&E version. I thought Keira Knightley was a knockout. Ditto for the young actress who played Jane. Since I didn’t know anything about the movie production, I was pleasantly surprised to see Donald Sutherland as Mr. Bennett and Judith Dench as Lady Catherine de Bourg.
My problem with the movie was that it moved along in a herky jerky fashion as opposed to the leasurely pace of the tv version. Time constraints, I know, but it still was confusing to me.
OK I’ve had my say. Let’s just say Colin Firth keeps this old ticker going. Thanks for the cerbreal hunks, Teresa.
You’re such a sweetheart, Terri!
I’m thankful for you and your talents, as well as everyone elses.
I’m also thankful for this community, which is a stay-at-home-mom’s saving grace on a daily basis.
