ELOISA SHARES HER NEST

Another colorful lady! Love it!
Yes, Eloisa, your assistant is amazing and we Bon-Bons all love her too!
Hey, my word is “appeared45”.
Exactly what a 55 yr old who hasn’t brushed her hair or put on makeup yet loves to hear!
I just love that you and Liz seem to share the same taste in office colors. I ADORE the paint!
The daffodils really stand out with the amazing red walls as background! Very pretty.
And Kim is awesome. I think she pretty much as a little fan club too.
My word is red31, how apropos
That quilt is gorgeous! Kim ROCKS! Such a teeny desk for someone who juggles as much as you do!
I really have to go to the paint store.....
awww, well, shucks. I adore all of you!
Yes, Eloisa, what Santa asked. How do you have such a small desk for everything you do?
You’re going to read ALL those books today? Your daffodils are gorgeous! I’m so jealous. I had two bloom and that was it.
Eloisa, I must say, you have EXQUISITE taste in wall color.
Your desk resembles mine at home, except yours has a computer on it.
Yes - I have to say that while all of your offices are lovely in their way, this is the one I’d feel most comfortable in.
And I firmly believe that ‘stacks’ of things are a viable organizational strategy.
Efficient and keeps the dust off the desk.

Beautiful color!
Thanks for the color accolades, everybody! I love red. Our dining room is red too. This is a darker, more saturated red. And you can’t see it, but I have a huge, chair-and-a-half in red with a gorgeous pattern, just right for me and a weepy child to curl up in.
I very cleverly did not show you the stacks on the floor. These other squawkers...seems like they might have done a little housecleaning! Not moi!
Eloisa
So, all that complaining my husband does about the condition of my desk is clearly unwarranted given the state of your desk? I shall have to point this out to him. I thank you for showing us your desks!
Do you think you could repost this picture with a finer resolution, Eloisa? And blow it up?
J (trying to see what’s written on that computer...and who also needs a DD arc, but can’t sew like amazing Kim to better my chances)
Seriously though, did you actually sew that, Kim? That amazing?
Again, love the paint color and the daffodils are a nice touch too. I love daffodils but since they are poisonous to cats, I can’t keep them inside (my cats try to eat evereything!).
Love your office, Eloisa. As a quilter, my eye was drawn to Kim’s quilt. What a clever thing to do. My desk looks like that and I’m not creating a darned thing here. My sewing room looks the same way but I am accomplishing something in there. Well, sorta.
Margaret
It’s like even your desk is smarter than I am. I love that you left the drawers open for the picture. These other squawker posers cleaned. Ha!
Thanks for keeping it real, Eloisa. LOL! I’m just sitting here wondering if you have Mayne or Villiers in one of those drawers....
My veri-word is you46. I. AM. NOT!
I love looking at all these “work” spaces. It gives us a glimpse into the real you.
I too love the wall color! And I’m glad to see I am not the only one who has a desk like that!
Love the red! My favorite color and I believe its very inspirational!
Thanks J Perry. Yes, I did sew it. In a previous life I’d like to forget I was a sewer by profession. That’s so-er. Not sue-er. *g*
I want to see the rest of the room
The bookcover quilt was a great idea. I agree, you just have to have clutter.
I’m assuming that volume of NO SWEETER HEAVEN is not usually there. . . or is it?
I think Eloisa should get a special prize for showing what our desks REALLY look like!
Kim, the quilt is gorgeous.
And, Eloisa, I just knew there were stacks of books out of sight. Something else I’d like to know is who lives in this office--Eloisa James, romance author, or Mary Bly, English professor, or is it shared property?
Eloisa: I love the splash of yellow daffodils against the red wall color.
Kim: WOW!! What a fabulous quilt!!
Janga: I believe the professor resides on the right, where all those tomes are, and the writer resides on the left, where a copy of PfP is, and the crafter of those magazines articles, the B&B innkeeper, the musician, the .... all reside front and center.
Hey Eloisa,
I fancy myself so close to you by your books I’m addressing you by your Christian name (absolutely scandalous, and without a proper introduction what will society think!! :ohh
Anyway I find myself accruing quite a collection of your books and I just wanted to say continue with the wonderful stories that help inspire me in my own writing and give me a momentary reprieve from the stress cloud that is college. G
The colour of the walls is amazing.. and that quilt is unbelievable! What a great space to work in!
But your desk, your desk is fantastic! I’m such a wood furniture person, and I’ve got a real hankering for a desk like that… so classy!
And I LOVE the look of your space...real! Just that.. real… like my life.
That is EXACTLY how my desk looks right now.
I love the red color of your office, Eloisa! No wonder your writing’s so hot.
