TOMORROW KATHLEEN EAGLE SWOOPS DOWN TO THE HENHOUSE!

Tomorrow, we chickens are delighted to welcome KATHLEEN EAGLE to spend the day in the henhouse. Kathleen is yet ANOTHER great Minnesota author (I know! What is in the water up there?)

image Since she was first published in 1984, she has written more than 40 books, including historical and contemporary, series and single title, and in doing so has earned practically every award in the industry. THE NIGHT REMEMBERS was a Chicago Tribune Notable Book. BookPage listed WHAT THE HEART KNOWS among its “Top Six Romance Picks” for 1999. THE LAST GOOD MAN was a finalist for the 2000 Minnesota Book Award for Popular Fiction--the only Romance to make it so far. YOU NEVER CAN TELL was named to RWA’s “Top Ten Favorite Books of the Year” list.  Now, we’ve just found out that her most recent boook RIDE A PAINTED PONY (Mira Books, 12/06) is also a Library Journal ”Five Best Romances of the 2006,” which makes this the fifth time one of her books has been chosen for that honor.

We chicks are all atwitter to see what she has to say. Actually, I know, (wounded heroes, not being a “cool” girl, marriage to a Lakota Indian, Barbie dolls, Ride a Painted Pony) but I ain’t telling. It’ll be FUN!

(AND DON’T FORGET TO KEEP NOMINATING YOUR SEXIEST GUYS IN THE COMMENTS OF THE BLOG BELOW.  WE’LL BE TAKING NOMINATIONS UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT!)
